I received all of the knives today, 04/23/01. I then went on duty at 1500 hours, my time. The Tanto knife was used almost immediately to slice through seat belts and other items to free a man trapped inside of a vehicle after a semi-truck rollover. I was quite pleased at its performance on the very first opening of the blade. I cannot express the feeling I got when others from the ambulance dept., fire dept., etc. as they watched and/or made comments during this episode of freeing this person.
